We compare readouts from IRDAM7000 weather station with the new WS800 weather station installed in the nearby location. We briefly discuss readout differences and possible biases of the old IRDAM7000 station.
Finally, we discuss installation and software settings. The most significant difference is that IRDAM7000 underestimates relative humidity (RH) by up to 25% and absolute atmospheric pressure is biased low by 1.75 mbar on the average while temperature and wind speed measurements do not show significant systematic biases.
Impact on weather dependent refraction is discussed.
